Being relatively tall and slender, Claude is definitely a person who is noticed when she steps into a room. She's striking in her own way, perhaps less because of her dark hair and light eyes than because of the way she carries herself, always with confidence, always with pride. She has a smile that can take on both soft curves and sharpness around the edges and she's always immaculately dressed, whether she dons a dress over her bustle or puts on a men's suit for the fun of it. Although she doesn't look neither wrinkly nor grey, she does look somewhat older than she really is, easily able to pass for a woman in her early thirties.

Although the term feminism hasn't been invented in Claude's day yet, she is very set on female emancipation and equality of the sexes, to such a degree that she sometimes demonizes men in the process.
